OP A arochester Guest Dec 25, 2013 #4 You can dual boot. You can keep Windows and use Linux. With 2Gb of RAM you can probably use any distro. Before you dual boot, BACKUP,BACKUP, BACKUP, so that you have copies of your files if there is a catastrophe. An external USB drive?
