Cloud Server with offsite backup and Failover

Do you think I should pay for 3rd party hosting for backup and failover?

Hello all!

We just started hosting our own "Cloud" storage, that is Linux based and in house. We would like to host a mirror set up at one of our remote locations, for back up reasons, and mainly, if the main cloud server site "goes down" (Power outage, or the main internet connection is down and the fail over is not working, ect...) we can still access our cloud from the remote site.

As of right now, I am running Ubuntu 12.04 with Apache and MySQL. I'm looking to add a 5 bay NAS system to the main site, as well as the remote site.

I think I'm going to need to run a second server to host everything at the remote site, just don't know what I need to get it going.

Any and all help would be great!
