Hello folks. I'm new to Linux and starting IT school. I'm trying to learn as much as I can to start the workforce with a vast amount of knowledge.

I wanted to see if my idea to run Linux is OK, and any reco.

:::Virtual Box to run Xubuntu?

Excited to start the world of Linux!

Thanks!

Hey gh0st_chili! Xubuntu on virtualbox should be fine for learning your way around Linux. Only snag to that is you may miss out of some of the hardware configuration you'd do on a host system. Perhaps if you like Xubuntu (and I think most in this community will assume that you will), you should consider dual booting.

Welcome aboard the forums, have a great stay in here and an awesome time as well.
