ARCH LINUX INSTALLATION

Shouldn't, I think there is a Netboot option, but if you have the .iso, no internet needed.

I would have said YES.
  • Connecting to the Internet: To be able to continue installing the ISO you need to connect to the Internet, because there are no packages available for installation on the ISO. For a wireless network you will need to use netcfg. When connected to a wired network, just use dhcpcd or dhclient.

There are Arch derivatives that will install without the Internet ---BUT they won't update without it e.g. Manjaro, Bridge, Archbang

Like arochester said, yes.
I have to agree with the post above. You will not be able to see the benefits of Arch Linux without a consistent internet connection. I think for what you are trying to install on a traditional release cycle would be much much more suitable.

Yes you do, the beginner's guide on the Arch wiki has a detailed tutorial for both wired and wirelss devices. Its a bit odd as you need to connect when booting from a drive and then re-establish the connection when to reboot to your actual disk image, but yes you will need an internet connection for the second half of your installation as installing video drivers, sound drivers, X windows, DEs, and even the bootloader.
