So I still and slowly exploring Linux, I have two hard drives. One with Windows installed and all of my content. The other has Linux 15, now I noticed when in windows drive I can't see the Linux drive, yet while in Linux drive I can see the contents of the windows drive. Now the question I have is I can see my music on my windows drive but I'd like to be able to play it on both drive. Since still use both drive, I don't want to do a complete cut and paste is there a beter option for this situation in the music player ?

Create one partition with the FAT32 filesystem, it is the only filesystem both Windows and Linux can use. Most Linux distro's can support NTFS drives as well, but mostly read-only.

So there no other option, but creating another partions. I mean I don't need to see the linux files in windows, i just want to be able use the windows files in linux without hurting or currpting them. and i'm worried that will happen with the music file because i'm using two different music application in each OS.

Don't worry. You can play your music in your windows drive from Linux with any music player you want. There is no risk of corrupting your music. Most of us Linux users who have had a dual boot system over the years have done exactly that. In windows I use VLC to listen to music. In Linux I use either VLC or banshee. It doesn't matter what player you like, they are all perfectly fine to use.

So there will be no issue of banshee move the music file somewhere else, I just didn't want or need a copy of all music since I have so much.
