 Asus to launch 'instant on' Linux laptops, May 30, 2008
 Asus will be releasing five laptop models with the Linux-based Splashtop operating system that supposedly boots in just a few seconds.
IBM wants to work with more start-ups, Aug 24, 2005
 IBM will focus on helping tech start-ups in emerging markets such as Brazil, Russia, India and China, particularly firms using open standards such as the Java programming language and Linux operating system.
