Microsoft announced on Tuesday that Web hosting and domain name provider GoDaddy is transitioning its approximately 4.5 million domains from a Linux platform to the Microsoft Solution for Windows-based Hosting.

Central Command (centralcommand.com) announced yesterday the immediate availability of Vexira Antivirus for Linux, an antivirus defense system used to protect Linux-based servers.
The solution features configurable path protection, e-mail notification of viruses, options to repair, rename, or delete infected files, automatic Internet updating, virus scan archives, a command line scanner, scalable concurrent scanning, and heuristic detection of new macro viruses.
