News Comment This is a comment on news story: Novell Readies Silverlight Clone for Linux It's a reply to comment: SilverBlight, MoonBlight - all the same by: pinniped  Let's see - we're supposed to be happy about a mimic of a patent-laden DRM-laden proprietary code meant to lock-in users who are currently using the patent-laden proprietary Adobe Flash? I don't like my current slave masters, I think I'll try another slave master instead - one that is a convicted monopolist that is also convicted of unlawful anti-competitive practice. This second master is also a veritable liar - anyone remember the "Get the Facts" campaign against Linux? (aka 'Get the FUD' and 'Get the Shaft') This particular lying monopoly claimed it had killed that campaign, but the truth is, the campaign is alive and well and full of - mostly CRAP.
