This is a comment on news story: E.U. Fines Microsoft $1.3 Billion
It's a reply to comment:

Money talks, and the bullshit walks. Microsoft seem to believe that the bullshit makes money walk in. I just have to laugh when I see the Microsoft propaganda department fails to convince the EU regulators that they have complied with orders.

I say MS is in violation of anti-competition laws as long as it continues to bundle software like "MS media player" - it is clearly driving other proprietary options out of business by providing the media player allegedly at zero cost to the consumer. I thought it was peculiar that the EU regulator only asked MS to sell another boxed version of WinDos without the media player. MS were clearly playing games by charging the same price for the box without the media player.

As for interoperability ***yawn*** - still waiting for MS to make anything more than a propaganda move on that. I haven't heard anything about the SAMBA project since the original "oh goody, look at what MS is promising us!"

I really couldn't see what had Linus praising MS - so much talk, nothing to show - just as the EU regulators say.
