I think people are sick of the endless upgrades but the thing he is missing is that people are lazy.

Both he and Stevie B are drawing different conclusions from the same fact: People are still forced, for the most part, to buy windows preinstalled and use what they have.

Both sides analysis would benefit from the requirement that no computer be sold with a drive... Sell the empty machine and the HDs with preinstalled Fista M$ tax and Linux side by side and see which one sells.

My money would be on the Linux since people buy with their wallets. Then the public would demand that Billy and Stevie stop corrupting the internet with their propriety virus. The godfather of Redmond mountain and his underboss would crash and burn in the free market.
