Apart from what Bob Robertson said in the previous post there is also the problem that USERS RESIST CHANGE.

I have actually lived this scenario. You get mumbled and vague reasons why OOo is unsuitable for them. What it boils down to is that the menus are slightly different and so the poor dears are so totally confused.

Please note that I am an OOo user in a company dominated by MS Office and I have no compatibility problems.
