Well, it seems that at least in Europe not everybody is bought and sold by M$ yet...
However, I fail to appreciate the full "landmarkiness" of this. Who really cares about this bundling? And why is the case apparently considered as settled as long as there is still the possibility of appeal? Apart from that, a total of 1.5 G€ may be painful to M$ but is still far from critical, particularly in view of the fact that they were just waived a similar sum for infringement of certain Alcatel patents.
So does it finally boil down to the fact that a rare occasion where M$ cannot just have their way is a landmark now? "Exceptions prove the rule", we say in German, meaning that any emphasis highlights what is otherwise common practice.
