A pirate being coerced to use Windows - YES! There IS a hell! No sympathy for him here; I rate 'pirates' just one level above the RIAA and MPAA in my list of lowlife.

You know Bill Gates probably considers people who use Linux as being pirates, don't you? Filesharing, open source, all those kind of things are anathema to Microsoft's way of doing business. Myself, I think being forced to use an inefficient proprietary OS (and all the headaches that entails) could be cruel and unusual punishment were it not for the fact that it's not at all unusual.
