This is a comment on news story: Linux talent scarce as penguins' teeth
It's a reply to comment:

No money = no staff by: carlos42 
Another article purporting to show that firms are "desperate" for linux programming staff, yet nowhere in the article did I see "he is willing to pay rates of $40,000 - $50,000", which would be considered a reasonable rate in London for a senior programmer.
Until firms pay decent wages for staff, noone will work for them, regardless of penguin suits.
