I am a long time SuSE user - a regular purchaser of the "professional" product. I stick with SuSE for functionality, included appplications, and some of the best out-of-box hardware support around, but in my experience, out-of-box SuSE is usually kludgy, bloated, and somewhat slower in the GUI than other distributions.

Well, I'm back from my vacation and I'm glad to hear the good news about EU rejecting software patents. However, is it really necessary to start re-doing name calling? Each country has it's share of faults, however it REALLY isn't necessary to point them out! Come on folks, we're better than folks who always seem ready to take potshots at Linux. No sense in acting like those who we dislike.
