I am sooo pleased to see this decision. When I think of the money our schools in the USA, and particularly here in California could save if they would just drop their stubborn insistence on propriteary software. Hey here in CA they might not even have to bash the governor so harshly if they practiced even this frugal bit of fiscal sensibility. Bravo Korea! Han-gook Man-se!
I'm also tickled to see this, being attached as I am to the Korean community here in Los Angeles... I remember a few years ago when XP came out how all my friends were saying they wanted to get "Weendoz Ex-su Pee" with an almost revernce for MS and Willy Gates... it almost turned my stomach. |
