News Comment All comments on news story: New Linux Security Hole Found It's a reply to comment: Linux -vs- Windows XP by: Hackey  What is the advantages of Linux over Windows. I am new to Linux and just tired of Windows and all there B.S. plus they just don't seem to care about the customer anymore. I need security and more freedom to develope what I need instead running out and having to buy upgrades all the time. Plus I run a small Home Based Business writing software for trucking companies. Tired of the security breaches with Windows and the hacking that goes on. Any comments is welcome and thanks for reading this. What I'd recommend is that you check out LinuxQuestions.org -- it's a really nice forum that gets lots of visitors by many kinds of Linux users and questions like yours have been answered time and time again. You also might try IRC -- specifically irc.freenode.net -- visit such channels as #linux which is a fairly general channel, and ask your questions there. Good luck!
