Time for Canada's government to open up

A study released earlier this year by the Georgia Institute of Technology, sponsored by open-source developer Red Hat, ranked Canada 34th out of 75 countries in what it called “open-source activity” within government. The study also looked at what it called the “open-source environment,” and Canada did better, ranking 11th for potential growth within government.
