Red Hat plans more hiring after adding 600 employees

Red Hat said that its total number of employees rose from 2,200 as of Feb. 28, 2008, to 2,800 a year later. The disclosure was made in the company’s annual 10K filing with the SEC. Also in the filing, Red Hat said that its employee base “is expected to generally increase in the foreseeable future.”
