Asus will be releasing five laptop models with the Linux-based Splashtop operating system that supposedly boots in just a few seconds.
You're basically only getting Firefox and Skype, but if all you want to do is surf the Web, check your Web-based e-mail, or make a VOIP call, that should be fine.
