Firefox Breaks Web Canvas, Dec 03, 2007

Millions of people rely on the Mozilla Firefox Web browser, but now some of them might not be able to access the content they want, thanks to the latest update.

The word from our ear on the ground is that the Asus EeePC sub-notebook, which made its Australian debut in the Myer department store chain on 2 December, was sold out completely across stores in the major capitals by Sunday.

Linux was in use on 0.6% of PCs worldwide, according to Net Applications. Despite its small share, Linux's slice of the market has nearly doubled since the beginning of the year.

The KDE Release Team has decided to release KDE 4.0 this coming January. The release was originally planned for mid-December. The KDE developers want to solve a couple of essential issues before releasing. Having solved some of those issues, among which were glitches in the visual appearance, and in Konqueror, the KDE community hopes to have a KDE 4.0 that will live up to the high expectations for it.
