Latest ATI Linux Driver Brings Support for Ubuntu 7.10, Nov 23, 2007
A new version of the ATI/AMD Linux display driver was released last night for both x86 and x86_64 platforms. This release is a bit special, as it includes support for Ubuntu 7.10.

Last night I downloaded the latest beta release from Mozilla, Firefox 3 Beta 1, meaning to just have a look-see so that I could pen a few impressions. Since then, I haven't bothered to load up Firefox 2 because, even though it's a pre-production test version, Firebox 3 Beta 1 is a mighty fine browser.
What happened to the SCO/York deal?, Nov 23, 2007
Earlier this week, it seemed that the only thing between York Capital buying SCO was the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware turning the proposed sale down. Then, in a surprise move on Nov. 20 SCO withdrew its emergency motion asking the court to allow it to sell its assets to York. The question of the day: why?
