Now that your TV is a computer

After years of waiting, I finally turned my TV into a computer.

Yours truly isn't unusual in this respect: Thousands of cable and satellite subscribers, thanks to next-generation digital set-top boxes, have been gleefully upgrading with functions we used to associate with PCs: such functions as infinite archival storage of video via removable disks (standard and high-definition), music storage, photo storage and slide shows, direct Internet access, gaming and more.
