Red Hat brushes off patent threat

Linux software maker Red Hat has again moved to allay fears that its corporate clients could be penalised for alleged intellectual property infringement.

Large corporates are keen to ensure the patent fight between Microsoft and open-source application providers, including Linux vendors, does not affect their business.
