The team behind GNOME, the popular Linux desktop, has announced the release of version 2.20 with a host of new features and improvements.

Mandriva Linux today announced a deal with the National Commission for Information Technology (CNTI) in Angola to provide technology solutions, training and consulting services in the African country.

NVIDIA released new drivers (100.14.19) for Linux and Solaris today, in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors. Although the main focus of the new drivers seems to be to add support for new NVIDIA Quadro models, there are a host of additional fixes and modifications, all of them accessible at the NVIDIA Unix driver support site.
