The team behind GNOME, the popular Linux desktop, has announced the release of version 2.20 with a host of new features and improvements. GNOME 2.20, comes nearly two and a half years after the last major revision, and, while the overall look and feel of GNOME isn't radically different, the latest release is packed full of revamped and polished applications.
