Top Ten Rejected Ubuntu Version Names, Sep 12, 2007
Linux Online has obtained internal memos from the Ubuntu project regarding the codenames they choose for different releases of Ubuntu. The public is familiar with names like Dapper Drake and Feisty Fawn, but here, for the first time, we're providing the names that were debated by the development team but were eventually rejected as official Ubuntu version codenames.

Over a year ago CBR published a look at the UK's adoption of open source software in the UK and promised a later update. That update is long overdue, and is also timely given that tomorrow some of the leading open source advocates in the country will gather in Westminster to debate the future of open source in this country.
