MontaVista, a specialist for mobile Linux-based operating systems, will receive 21 million US dollars in venture capital from Siemens Venture Capital (SVC) and other investors. "Siemens AG has been a customer of the company for some years now and has a number of important products that build on MontaVista technologies," Reinhold Achatz, head of Siemens' Corporate Research and Technologies division, declared.
