The penguin's not really coming

The use of Linux and other open source software in Australia and New Zealand is miles behind North America, according to tech research company Forrester.

Researcher Sam Higgins said a survey of 125 organisations in the two countries showed that just 18 per cent were using Linux in production. Those considering its use over the next 12 months constituted 11 per cent.
