International Business Machines Corp. isn't calling off its competition with rival Microsoft Corp.
In fact, it's looking for allies.
IBM said Monday that it is expanding its partnership efforts with venture capital firms around the globe to identify up-and-coming technology companies that could benefit from IBM's business and technical expertise.
