QCD Microsystems Inc, a little five-year-old company in New York, has made Linux look like Windows so it's easier to administer.

It thinks it's the only Linux admin platform like it and that it's solving a problem that really needs solving.

The widgetry is called InterStructures and it's been in development for the last 18 months, a lot of that time apparently in beta test. The reaction of folks that have seen it has reportedly been "Wow."
