Hoary Hedgehogs are apparently a bit slow out of the gate.

The next release of the Ubuntu free Linux distribution, dubbed the "Hoary Hedgehog," now will be released on Friday, according to new messages posted on the Ubuntu site.

Although Ubuntu developer Mark Shuttleworth indicated that the new 5.04 version of the distribution would be released on Wednesday, a second posting on the distribution's web page now seems to indicate that parties celebrating the release will occur at the end of this week.
