| Ubuntu "Hoary Hedgehog" Due Wednesday |

Version 5.04 of Ubuntu's free Linux distribution -- dubbed the "Hoary Hedgehog" -- is scheduled to be published on Wednesday, according to Mark Shuttleworth, who runs the effort.
Shuttleworth revealed the launch date as part of an online question-and-answer session at Slashdot, and indicated that the next release, dubbed "Breezy Badger," is scheduled for October.
