... I still believe it is hard to be a pure open source company, if you want to do software development. If you want to do consulting, that's fine, but the kind of companies that just produce software, as pure open source, is incredibly hard.

In a widely predicted move loss-making chip company Transmeta is extricating itself from the processor manufacturing business and making a bid to generate sales from licensing its chip technologies instead.
