Linux gives tighter control over computer’s users

To the list of reasons you may want to use Linux instead of Windows as your computer’s operating system, add one more: Control over users means control over evil software.

Linux does not automatically log in users as “root” users, which provides near total control of the computer. But Linux makes it easy to let “limited” users perform some administrative tasks, and many Linux programs run for limited users.
