Recently, SAP's negotiation with Microsoft about a merger aroused wide concern in the industry. Germany-based SAP is a leader in e-business for all types of industries.
Last week, Henning Kagermann, CEO of SAP, visited China for the fourth time since 2001. He reiterated in an interview that SAP had terminated negotiation with Microsoft about combination, and did not intend to talk about the matter any more.
On the contrary, he announced a plan to join hands with Red Flag Software Co., a renowned Linux operating system developer in China. The plan reveals that SAP is gradually moving its products from Windows platform to Linux platform.
