Clark's technology team announced Monday the launch of Clark TechCorps, an initiative to build a suite of free, open-source applications for campaigns and elections.

MicrosoftMicrosoft's recent decision to pursue a royalty-bearing licensing strategy, which includes its internally developed FAT Allocation Table (FAT) file system, is stirring up new theories in the technology world.

Even worse followed shortly, when speculation that a company called SCO had hired a high profile lawyer to look into revenue opportunities from its Unix IP turned out to be entirely true.

Ogg VorbisiRiver has been trying to satisfy the customers by improving their products without changing the hardware component. Therefore even the customers who bought the iRiver products few months or even years ago can benefit the newest technologies without paying a single penny. The OGG Vorbis firmware is available for iFP-300/500 series as of today, December 24, 2003. The introduced firmware is the Manager version and the UMS and iMP series firmware will be available in January 2004.
