Lindows Portables: A Threat to iBook or Dell?, Feb 22, 2003
Actually, the whole table is confusing, as Lindows' site lists the iBook at '$1,799.' Apple doesn't sell such a machine. If it did, its screen would be 14.1". And if it's the PowerBook-12, then (please) say so. Just as the Mac is not a typewriter, the PowerBook is not an iBook.
A brief comparison of KDE 3.1 & GNOME 2.2, Feb 22, 2003
In this corner, we have the heavyweight champion of the Linux world, KDE 3.1, released on or about January 28, 2003. In the other corner, we have the challenger, GNOME 2.2, released on or about February 6, 2003. While I have not had time to explore KDE or GNOME in depth, my first impressions start with installation.

Stutz's post takes a harsh tone. "Stop looking over your shoulder and invent something!" he says at one point, and also: "Recovering from current external perceptions of Microsoft as a paranoid, untrustworthy, greedy, petty, and politically inept organization will take years."
