- Boys (and Girls) and their Linux Toys, Mar 24, 2001

Microsoft"Linux is a toy." - Steve Ballmer, CEO, Microsoft Corp., regarding IBM's recent huge investment in Linux.

Of course, the irony of his statement made me laugh out loud. The only reason I still have Windows around at all is for games, and another word for games is toys. I have three computers, an old desktop, an even older desktop, and a very old laptop. Only one machine has anything Microsoft related installed on it. The rest are running Linux exclusively. Not bad for a "toy".
