Seriously, it'd be a great move for the industry if Microsoft took Linux off Corel's hands. You Linux loyalists are probably already planning public protests, but wait--it makes sense. Linux would immediately become a viable alternative desktop OS and suddenly achieve adulthood--sort of an instant bar mitzvah for an adolescent OS. Microsoft buys Corel Linux, gives it a pat on the head, and rolls out the best business plan the industry's biggest, baddest bully can come up with.
