New product available for the Linux Community!, Aug 30, 2000
Flash VOS has developed a super operating system, called SOS, that allows multiple OSes to run concurrently by creating virtual machines inside your machine (Virtualization). i.e.- Run SuSe, Turbo Linux, Caldera, Windows 95, WIndows 98, Windows 2000, OS/2, Unix and DOS 6.0 on your PC at the same time. Share devices and files between OSes. Run multi-lingual environments. Remote monitor and control a PC and install new OSes or applications over the Internet. Better yet, while you are working on your PC, launch an application or AOL without launching an OS. You do not need a different version for each OS, like VMWare(might I add- at the fraction of the cost, as well). No, we are not an application that runs on top of the OSes and uses emulation or simulation. No, this isn't code-morphing, like what Transmeta is trying to do. Our Super OS runs in the BIOS and uses Flash Memory. We are OS independant. We are the layer below the OS and above the Hardware Abstraction Layer. You can install our super O/S with nothing on your PC. That's right, no OS needed. We are completely OS independant. As a matter of fact, you can install our super O/S on your Windows 98 machine without interrupting you current environment and SOS will automatically place itself under the OS and transform your current OS into a virtual machine. Then you can create and resize partitions on the fly. Just create a new partition and install Linux into that partition. Now, you have Linux and Windows 98 on that machine. Just keep adding!!!! Never upgrade again or be OS dependant again. Now you're in control!!
Our technology is a new technology which we have patented, called Virtualization. We have been able to do what others are still trying to research. We have been in stealth mode for 4 years, which is why you haven't heard of us already and we are launching our product in November at COMDEX.
VISIT US AT www.flashvos.com and purchase SOS today at an introductory price.
