Intermediate Level User Linux Course

Author's guide to the Intermediate Course

Why did we do this?

The aim of Linux Online is to foster awareness and promote use of the Linux Operating system. One of the most important means of doing this is by educating the public on how to install, configure and productively use Linux. For this reason, we decided to develop these courses at no cost to those who use them in order to reach the widest possible audience.

Update: December 4, 2003

I have received some mail about typos. There hasn't been a lot of mail, so that's a good sign. At any rate, I would like to publicly acknowlege the work of the following people who sent me reports of typos and other gaffes. In some cases, they were very detailed making them easy to find and correct. I'd like to thank the following people: Jason Green, Jim Pye, Rob G. Healey, William Stanard Andy Prough, Jason Crowder, Mark Austen, Mike Powell
