Application: SimpleBackup

This software is a cross-platform backup program that you can use it to build simple backups of directories.

It reads a configuration file, one per backup directory, then it builds a compressed file from the directory that is supposed to be backup, and places the compressed file into another directory. This directory can be for example a network mapped drive in windows, a nfs mounted drive in unix, another hard disk or a ftp server. This will duplicate your information, doing the so called "backup".

This will duplicate your information, doing the so called "backup".

It was design from the start to work fully unattended and being portable to Unix (Linux, Aix, FreeBds, etc) and to Microsoft Windows
