RuleCore is a event-driven rule engine for detection of more or less complex patterns of events.
The ruleCore engine is based on ideas from the research in reactive Event-Condition-Action (ECA) rule systems.
Combinations of events can be definied with a GUI and detected and reacted to (by executing scripts) by the engine. Events are delivered to the engine with XML-RPC, WebSphere MQ or Tibco Rendezvous.
Events can be combined with different logical and temporal operators.
Usable for event correlation type of tasks in network or system management
