Application: Xenomorph Image Processor

Xenomorph implements polynomial, morphologic and morphologic-polynomial image filters of arbitrary orders, based on a simple filter description language. It comes with a set of some dozen filters, including standard filters like smooth, despecle, edge detect and sharpen, but also exotic filters like directional morphologic filters, signal energy detectors, and soft morphology operators.

It's nothing you need for DTP, but if you're studying computer science, some of the operators could be interesting. A small documentation and some demonstrations on the LENA image are available on the homepage.
