Application: Rolodap

Rolodap is a multiuser contacts managment system that uses an LDAP server to store all user, group, and contact information. It was developed using PHP, HTML, and Javascript so that it can be accessed from any OS with a Javascript capable HTML browser. The Web-based interface provides an easy-to-use front end to the contacts directory, which allows users to search and organize their contacts into user-created Address Books. A single contact can appear in any number of Address Books, yet each contact only exists in the database one time. This means data for each contact only needs to be updated one time in order to affect change in all user's Address Books.
