Application: SandStorm SandStorm is named after Microsoft's HailStorm, and aims to allow a development of modular middle-end web applications. Each web application's API is divided into "components". Each of them can be implemented in a different language, and reside everywhere on the network, as long as it implements some common API, and is registered at the SandStorm registry.
