| SandStorm is named after Microsoft's HailStorm, and aims to allow a development of modular middle-end web applications. Each web application's API is divided into "components". Each of them can be
implemented in a different language, and reside everywhere on the network, as long as it implements some common API, and is registered at the SandStorm registry. Support libraries to easily find components at the registry and to write SandStorm components are available in many
scripting languages. |
