Application: Socks5 SOCKS is networking middle ware that enables an unstructured, and often unsecured enterprise network, to effectively, responsibly, and safely use the Internet. SOCKS establishes a secure proxy data channel between two computers in a client/server environment. From the client's perspective, SOCKS is transparent. From the server's perspective, SOCKS is a client.
