Application: Checklocalpwd Checklocalpwd is an alternative "checkpassword" program for the Qmail POP server. Authentification is done with its own /etc/passwd-style database, which maps POP logins to the path where their mail is stored, and to the real UID the server should fetch them as. Usernames and passwords in this database can be different from the system's user accounts.
