Application: XLassie

XLassie is like XBiff but smarter. It can query POP and IMAP servers, as well as use a local mail spool. It counts your new messages and displays the number in a window. It is written in straight Xlib and uses less memory and CPU than plain xbiff, and much less than other fancy mailcheckers. It also has additional support for the KDE and WindowMaker applet protocols.
