Application: XLassie XLassie is like XBiff but smarter. It can query POP and IMAP servers, as well as use a local mail spool. It counts your new messages and displays the number in a window. It is written in straight Xlib and uses less memory and CPU than plain xbiff, and much less than other fancy mailcheckers.
